Filling your prescriptions early guarantees that you will have your medications ready for the new year, avoiding delays or shortages. Additionally, the end of the year may coincide with the conclusion of your plan year. Some members may receive new ID cards from ClaimLinx, but not all members will. Regardless of whether you receive new cards, we recommend filling your prescriptions early to avoid any complications. 

What should you keep in mind? 

Does this apply if my plan is not renewed at the end of the year? 

Even if your plan is not renewed at the end of the year, pharmacies may still experience delays due to increased demand and holiday hours. We recommend filling your prescriptions early, regardless of your renewal status. 

If you do not plan to renew with ClaimLinx, you will not receive new ID cards. However, filling your January prescriptions early can help ensure a smoother process during the holiday season.
