ClaimLinx Observes Indigenous People’s Day

Our staff will be out of office on Monday October 13th 2025 to recognize Indigenous People’s Day.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day helps to correct the false narrative of Americas discovery, and puts the focus on America’s first inhabitants and the Tribal Nations that continue to thrive today.

A Day of Honor

The day is an opportunity to learn about and honor the invaluable contributions and resilience of Indigenous peoples. In Greater Cincinnati, this includes the Shawnee, Miami, Delaware, (Lenni Lenape), Potawatomi, and Wyandot peoples. Indigenous Peoples’ Day amplifies the voices of Native communities, uplifting Indigenous excellence in areas like environmental stewardship, health, connection to the land, Indigenous foods, and native ancestry.

Tom Quigley from Claimlinx Insurance explains upcoming insurance changes

CONWAY — The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) health subsidies, which were expanded during COVID-19 and the Inflation Reduction Act, are set to sunset at the end of December, and that could significantly impact middle-income families.

“So the question is, are they going to make them permanent? And if they don’t, they have a lot of problems on their hands,” Tom Quigley from Claimlinx Insurance said during an appearance on SUN TV on Tuesday.

Quigley discussed the implications of the expiration of the subsidies, which could potentially increase monthly premiums from $200 to $2,000.

Quigley appeared on SUN-TV with Sun Publisher Mark Guerringue to explain upcoming insurance changes.

The ClaimLinx staff will return to office Tuesday October 14th 2025. Thank you for being understanding to our staff as we recognize Indigenous People’s Day. Please schedule a consultation with one of our skilled agents to help you with all your Health Insurance needs.
