ClaimLinx Compensation Disclosure Report 2025

2025 Compensation Disclosure: What Employers and Administrators Need to Know

ClaimLinx has released its 2025 Compensation Disclosure, as a part of meeting annual requirement under the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA). This rule helps maintain clarity between health plan brokers, consultants, and employers. If you are a business owner or plan administrator, here’s what you should know.

We’ve put together a list of common questions to help you understand how this works and what steps you may (or may not) need to take.

Where can I find the 2025 Compensation Disclosure?

You can find ClaimLinx’s outline of the report and basic information on the website. It gives a summary of the official report and references to where administrators can find the report. If you need more detailed info—like how much was paid per plan or carrier—you can log in to the private administrator portal. The full report is available under the “ClaimLinx Resource Documents” folder.

If you don’t have access to the portal, just email us at commissions_admin@claimlinx.com, and we’ll send the full report to you.

Login to the employer portal to view the 2025 Compensation Disclosure.

You do not need to sign anything or send anything back. There is an optional acknowledgement form if you want to keep a copy for your records, but it’s not required. An updated version of the report is uploaded each year, as is required. But acknowledgment from plan sponsors is not a part of the guidelines.

What’s different in this year’s disclosure?

This year’s 2025 broker compensation disclosure shows updated totals for what we received for each insurance product. Each insurance carrier has different compensation agreements with agencies. This report is a representation to the best of our ability of the compensation we receive for insurance plans.

Please be aware that these agreements can vary from product to product and group to group.  That is why you’ll see a range of payment types for different carriers. You will not see client-specific compensation information in this report.

Why do we need this compensation disclosure?

The CAA says that health plan brokers and consultants must share how much money they earn if it’s more than $1,000 per year. This helps you, the employer or administrator, make sure what you’re paying is fair and reasonable. It also helps you stay compliant with ERISA rules for employee benefit plans.

How does this help me as a plan sponsor or administrator?

This disclosure helps you:

  • Understand how much your broker is paid
  • Make sure broker payments are fair
  • Stay compliant with CAA and ERISA rules

Does this change how ClaimLinx selects health insurance plans?

Not at all. We still look at what is best for your company and your employees. If an insurance carrier offers us extra pay, we will only accept compensation if it makes sense for your plan.

ClaimLinx and its expert agents are focused on the best plans at the lowest cost. That’s why our consulting fees come from a percentage of a client’s savings. We want to be different from other brokers. We like when our priorities to be aligned with yours.

Our team takes care of billing the employer and even sends payment directly to providers. We focus on giving each client the same seamless experience as having a traditional plan with a major carrier

What should I do next?

Here are a few simple steps:

  1. Look at the public report on our website
  1. Log in to the portal to see your full report
  1. Save the acknowledgement form (if you want)
  1. Ask questions if you’re unsure about anything
