Teaching Employees about Health Plan Coverage

Ken Houston Electric
I recently had the opportunity to meet with the team at Ken Houston Electric for their Annual Group Education. This group has truly embraced the ClaimLinx solution, using it to its fullest potential since their inception date of July 1, 2024.
In just a short period of time, Ken Houston Electric has had a significant savings, which has allowed Ken to reinvest in his employees by offering a very rich benefits package. This not only enhances employee satisfaction but also plays a key role in helping with retention and long-term success.
While I always enjoy meeting with the team, I have to admit my favorite part of my visits to Ken Houston Electric is spending time with the Golden Retriever Greeting Committee, Sassy and Skipper. These two were just as excited to welcome me as they were to enjoy the specialty treats that morning right alongside the rest of the team!
It’s inspiring to see how organizations like Ken Houston Electric leverage their savings to give back to their employees, and it’s always a joy to share in both the professional and personal moments during these visits.
Key Environmental
On my recent travels, I had the pleasure of visiting Kelly Kobistek and Jesse Carse at Key Environmental in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. Key Environmental has been a valued ClaimLinx partner since January 2021, and it’s always a highlight to spend time with their team.
Kelly, Jesse, and everyone at Key Environmental have been such wonderful folks to work with over the years. Their partnership and collaboration continue to make a difference for their employees and organization.
And, of course, no trip to Pittsburgh would be complete without a little friendly football banter. Between the Bengals and Steelers rivalry, there’s always plenty to laugh about and bond over!
I always look forward to connecting with our partners in person, learning more about their needs, and strengthening relationships that go beyond the day-to-day. Thank you again to Kelly, Jesse, and the entire team at Key Environmental—it’s truly a pleasure working with you.
Steel City Aquatics
I recently had the pleasure of visiting our long-standing partners, Steel City Aquatics, who have been with ClaimLinx since January 2021. It’s always a highlight to catch up with such a committed and energetic team.
They’ve recently moved into a brand-new facility, one that’s absolutely stunning with its cheery, ocean-themed décor and a bright, indoor pool specially designed for their swimmers. It’s a true underwater wonderland that makes you want to jump right in! The remodel is clearly fresh and impressive. Congratulations to our friends at Steel City on the relocation and amazing transformation of this wonderful new space! I was seriously tempted to take a dip myself.
Peterman Brothers Heating & Cooling
We’re excited to welcome one of our newest groups, Peterman Brothers Heating & Cooling, who officially joined ClaimLinx on September 1, 2025. During our visit, we learned that Peterman Brothers is the largest privately owned HVAC company in the United States. Such an incredible accomplishment and testament to their hard work and vision.
From the moment we walked in, it was clear how much this company invests back into its employees. We hosted three education sessions with their newest members, and the energy in the room was fantastic. The staff was not only engaged but also enthusiastic about learning more about their new benefits and how ClaimLinx can help them save on insurance premiums.
Although we didn’t get the chance to meet Chad and Tyler Peterman in person during this visit, we still had some fun goofing around with their life-size cutout photo. It made for a great laugh and a reminder of the strong leadership behind this growing company. Chad Peterman, President, and Tyler Peterman, Vice President, are brothers and serve as the second generation of leadership for the family-owned company.
Peterman Brothers partnered with us to provide their employees with better benefits and significant cost savings, and it was such a pleasure to connect with a team that values both their people and their customers. With their strong presence across Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, Peterman Brothers has truly built an empire of success and customer trust.

Moose Calls with HB Fleming in South Portland, Maine
In October, I had the pleasure of visiting HB Fleming in South Portland, Maine, a valued ClaimLinx client since 2022. I was also joined by April VanderVeur, HB Fleming’s Broker and Insurance Agent, as we teamed up to educate employees and make the benefits process a little easier to understand.
This year’s annual safety meeting brought together 93 employees, and I was honored to be invited to speak about their health benefits and share updates on the upcoming renewal.
From the moment I walked in, the team’s energy was contagious. Not only were they fully engaged, but they also showed off their “moose calls,” which brought a few laughs to kick things off. And of course, no education session is complete without a little fun, so we held a raffle-style quiz! Employees who answered benefit questions correctly walked away with gift cards… and those who didn’t were met with flying stress balls and plenty of laughs!
It was wonderful spending time with Katie Rumpf, Executive Administrator, and Neil Hutchings, HR Director, who always make these visits enjoyable and productive. We always have a blast with this group, and this visit was no exception.

As a Field Service Manager, one of the most rewarding parts of my role is getting out in the field, meeting with our clients face-to-face, and truly understanding their needs. Whether it’s helping to onboard new staff, walking through benefit renewals, or simply being a familiar face and trusted resource. I love being able to provide meaningful support to both groups and their members.
