But we’re not going to lie either; there are going to be some challenges this year. Marketing Media and Communications Specialist, Whitney Faber, spoke to National Business Consultant, Tom Quigley, to discuss the difficulties ClaimLinx will face and its plans to overcoming them.

Whitney Faber: What do you see as the biggest challenge for the ClaimLinx sales strategy this year?

Tom Quigley: The lack of knowledge from businesses to realize that they are not taking advantage of tax breaks. There are a lot of opportunities out there, and they’re doing their employees a disservice by not offering them a chance to use them.

WF: What are you doing to make sure this doesn’t remain an issue in the future?

TQ: Our biggest focus is that we’re trying to get CPAs and tax attorneys involved, since their job is to be tax consultants. They’re removed from the emotional side of these decisions — just looking at the numbers.

WF: There are a lot of hesitations from individuals and business owners to use new insurance plans offered on the marketplace, how are you helping ease peoples’ minds?

TQ: I don’t really see this as an issue. We navigate people through the marketplace so that it isn’t an issue at all.

WF: With the constant changes to the Affordable Care Act, how are you making sure current and future clients are saving money and following the law?

TQ: We are partnered with multiple tax attorneys to make sure we are compliant.
